Twinkle, twinkle, little star

My daughter Ellie has some of the weirdest, yet cutest personality characteristics. She does some things I've never heard other babies or kids doing, not in a bad way, don't get me wrong. She is just different. And also very funny through her behavior. Her differentness only manages to entertain us and bring a lot of smiles in our house, any time a day or night.
Lately we've noticed she's got a strange and otherwise uncomfortable way of sleeping which for a normal person would look more like a torturing method but to her, it's easing her into the deepest sleep ever.
Basically she sleeps with her tiny tush up, sometimes arms along her body, resting only on one cheek and knees. She also loves to explore her crib during the night, and not in a smooth way, twisting and turning with such violence one might think a battle is going on over there. All these, of course, while engaged in a very deep sleep, so every time I check up on her she's in a different spot, sometimes scarring the hell out of me as I'm afraid she might just jump out the crib, you know, just because she can.
It's twisted but it works, so heck, as long as she sleeps 10 hours a night, with no requests for formula or tea or even worse for mommy's loving arm used as pillows, I am one happy mamma.

So...Bottoms up, Ellie!
